Kate Jegede is a television presenter with a background in science. After studying science subjects at A-level she then went onto King’s college, London to study clinical sciences and followed that up with postgraduate research at the university of Oxford. As well as her academic science career, Kate has worked with the BBC Science Unit and BBC Radio Oxford, and has been published in the science journal, ‘Nature’.
Kate joined Derren Brown to talk and present science on Channel 4’s, ‘The Science of Attraction, a follow up to the BAFTA nominated series, The Science of Scams. Since doing the series Kate has worked as a freelance News Editor and features writer for Africa Health and has been on research trips for them, helping to set up a learning resources and research centre at a one of the countries forefront teaching hospital in Ilesa, Nigeria in 2011 and 2012.
